An Interview with Interacoustics and MAICO

Why should convention attendees visit to your booth and what will they experience at your booth?
Our brand new exhibit booth is equipped with large display monitors, and was designed for optimal product training stations. Each station allows attendees ample space to try each product. Join us for one of our in booth educational training events, displayed on large screens, bench seating available.

What new and innovative product(s) will you be featuring at AudiologyNOW! 2014?
Interacoustics released three innovative products & technology improvements in 2013:

  • 3D Wide Band Tympanometry on the Titan immittance instrument
  • EyeSeeCam featuring the vHIT (Video Head Impulse Test)
  • Refinement of the CE-Chirp stimuli and superior detection algorithm for ABR/ASSR, with a novel low band and high band CE-Chirp stimulus now available on the Titan ABR Screening (ABRIS) module.

The Titan 3D WBT module presents a mountain of data in the same amount of time as traditional tympanometry. One WBTympanogram reveals ‘absorbance’ characteristics of the ME across a broad frequency and pressure range in a colorful, 3D analysis image, improving sensitivity and specificity of ME disorders.

The Titan ABRIS incorporates the patented CE-Chirp stimulus that has been available on the Eclipse EP25 Clinical ABR and superior ASSR platform. The CE-Chirp – in ASSR form – with its advanced detection algorithm allows for binaural ABR screening exams with typical test completion in 30 seconds. Additional flexibility is now available in the form of low and high pass CE-Chirp stimuli and additional dB level presentations. Coupled with the DPOAE module, the Titan becomes the most powerful hearing screening assessment tool on the market.

The Video Head Impulse Test (vHIT) is the fastest, simplest objective measurement for assessing semicircular canal function and the NEW EyeSeeCam is the industry leader. The EyeSeeCam allows for testing of all six semicircular canals (Lateral, RALP, LARP). A small goggle, high-frequency camera, inertial measurement device and calibration laser are used to capture, record and analyze eye/head movements.

How many years have you been exhibiting at AudiologyNOW!?
This will our 10th AudiologyNOW! event.
