Central auditory processing disorder (CAPD), seen in children and adults, has been linked to a number of etiologies involving neuroanatomical abnormalities, neurological compromise of the central auditory nervous system, neuromaturational lag and learning related auditory processing problems. This special conference, Clinical Populations with CAPD: What We Know and What Lies Ahead, will bring together leading international scientists and clinicians to discuss what we know and future directions in research and clinical practice. The CAPD Global Conference will be held in conjunction with AudiologyNOW! 2014, March 26-29. Academy CEUs and Tier 1 hours will be offered.
