Attendee Experience:
- Educational Sessions begin on Wednesday, April 6 with Learning Labs (additional Fee) and afternoon Learning Modules (included with registration) and continue on through Saturday April 9th.
- At AudiologyNOW! 2011 you can earn a total of 34 Continuing Education hours (3.4 CEUs).. At the early member registration rate that works out to $12.35 per CEU hour!
- Online learning from AudiologyNOW! – Marion Downs Lecture and other course available either live or on-demand. See website for more information.
- A new Session Planner is even easier to use – search for sessions and events with the click of a mouse. You will be able to plan your sessions and your visits to the show floor ahead of time using our Virtual Show Floor mapping system. See what exhibitors are participating at AudiologyNOW! and get detailed information about the companies and the products and services they will be highlighting.
- Ribbon Bar – connect with your fellow attendees and add some humor to their day. A “Ribbon Bar” will be offered to allow you to personalize your badge with fun sayings like “Tired Feet” , “Audiology Diva”, “I need coffee” and more. They make for a nice conversation ice-breaker!
- What inspired you to choose Audiology as your career? At AudiologyNOW! you will be able to share that inspiration and see what motivated your colleagues as well.
- Expanded Reg Express – If you’ve registered by the March 18, 2011 deadline, you can save time by stopping by RegExpress locations. This year they will be offered at three hotels on Wednesday, April 6 – Chicago Hyatt Regency and the Palmer House Hilton from 11:00am – 6:00pm and the Chicago Hyatt Regency from 11:00am – 7:30pm.
- Expanded Online Registration – want to register for a Learning Lab at the last moment? Find out you can attend a few days before? No need to wait in line onsite. Register online and print your badge out onsite. No lines means you get to your sessions and events faster.
Audiology Solutions Experience:
- The will be located on the show floor – see the latest research and then see the latest technology at the same time! The amazing New Product Showcase booth will highlight the newest technology that the exhibitors have to offer. Stop by to vote for the best new product!
- Industry Updates –sessions will provide attendees with information focused on product training and/or demonstration to include new or updated software, diagnostic or instrumentation, new hearing aid products and/or features, etc. (CEUs offered for these sessions)
- Sponsor Raffle cards – visit each of the AudiologyNOW! sponsor booth, get your card stamped and enter in the raffle to win free registration and hotel for AudiologyNOW! 2012.
- Lunches – This year in Chicago we will offer attendees three different lunch options:
- Included in registration fees, all full conference attendees will receive a $10 per day to be used for lunch specials (sandwich, chips and drink) or can be use be applied toward al la carte items located in the “Overlook Café”. For the a la carte usage attendees are responsible for any charges over the $10 allotment.
- Upgrade your lunch to the Audiology Bistro Topic Tables. Turn lunch into a learning and networking opportunity in a draped off upgraded buffet lunch atmosphere with hosted seating. Select tables at the Audiology Bistro, located on the show floor, will be designated “topic tables” during lunch hours Thursday–Saturday. Topic tables seating is first-come first-serve so plan accordingly! Join in the conversations, ask questions and share your thoughts on a variety of hot topics. Expert moderators will be on hand at each table. Actual lunch cost at Topic Tables is $20, but your daily $10 lunch coupon will be applied so your total out of pocket is only $10 per day. (CEUs not offered)
- Upgraded Audiology Bistro Quiet Table – If you prefer a quiet hosted buffet dining experience that lets you save time and sit down to a plentiful lunch, there will be designated tables without topic discussions. Actual lunch cost at Quiet Tables is $20, but your daily $10 lunch coupon will be applied so your total out of pocket is only $10 per day.
