The American Academy of Audiology’s Political Action Committee (PAC) supported Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) at a fundraising luncheon in Washington, DC, on July 18. Sen. Kaine serves on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee and was the lead cosponsor of the Early Hearing Detection and Intervention Act (H.R. 1539, S. 652) in the 115th Congress. Sen. Kaine was integral in helping to pass this legislation in late 2017. The Academy looks forward to continuing to work with Sen. Kaine on important issues throughout the 115th Congress and into the future.

The Academy’s PAC is supported entirely by contributions from Academy members. Click here to learn more about the PAC and make your annual gift.
