Open Houses

Want to host an Open House during AudiologyNOW!?

The Academy is excited to again provide meeting rooms for Open Houses at AudiologyNOW! 2010 for your students, faculty, alumni, or members. We have had great success with the Open Houses and we invite you to reserve a room for your event.

• Date scheduled: Wednesday, April 14
• Time: 4:30–6:00pm

The Academy does not charge a fee for the meeting space; however your group will be billed directly by the vendors for any food, beverages, audiovisual equipment and other expenses related to hosting your Open House.

To reserve your room contact Barbara Wertheim at the Academy by January 26, 2010, and provide the following information:

• Name of your group (as you want it to appear on your sign)
• Number of anticipated attendees
• Contact person
• Contact person’s phone number
• Contact person’s e-mail address
• 50 word description of your open house to be listed on the Itinerary Planner and in ProgramNOW! (ProgramNOW! print deadline: January 12)

The rooms in the San Diego Convention Center are set theater style, if you prefer to have the room set up differently, you may incur a room reset fee, the facility caterer, will have additional information.

• After receiving your confirmation letter you can make any needed catering arrangements with the facility caterer, Dan Pariseau, directly either via e-mail or by phone 619-525-5926.
• All Audio/Visual equipment information will be included in your confirmation.
