Here’s your opportunity to join the premier professional organization for audiologists, meet your future colleagues, attend educational sessions, socialize with fellow students and attend AudiologyNOW!

What is a Student Volunteer?

Student Volunteers are an integral part of AudiologyNOW! Volunteers help with registration, instructional courses, poster sessions, the Employment Service Center and more. For volunteering up to five hours of your time, you will receive free registration!

What are the Requirements for Becoming a Student Volunteer?

  • You must apply to be a volunteer
  • Note: Selections are made on a first come, first serve basis
  • You must be a student actively enrolled in a graduate program or in a clinical study setting at the time of the AudiologyNOW!
  • You must be a student member of the American Academy of Audiology.  Not a member?  Join Now!
  • You must commit to be at AudiologyNOW! for the Student Volunteer Orientation on Wednesday evening (5:15 pm) and remain until the end of AudiologyNOW! on Saturday evening (6:00 pm)
  • If you are already a student member, please be sure to renew your membership.  

We Want You!

We need dedicated students who will take this commitment seriously.  Selections will be made on a first come, first served basis.  There are a limited number of Student Volunteer requirements and the best assignments are filled early.  If you make early return reservations and cannot fulfill your assignment, you cancel late or you do not show for you student volunteer assignment, you will be charged the full cost of a student member registration.

This is a great opportunity for you to become involved in your profession. The Academy is excited about your participation and is happy to waive your registration fee in return for your help.  This is a great deal!  We hope you take advantage of it.
