On March 29 - April 1, 2008, I’m joining a group of audiologist cyclists for the Bike Through North Carolina Tour and Fundraiser. We will be covering 200 miles in and around the middle of North Carolina. This bike ride isn’t a race, but it does raise money for the American Academy of Audiology Foundation (www.audiologyfoundation.org).
Why am I doing this? As an audiologist, I work every day to improve how people hear and communicate. With this journey, I’m helping the American Academy of Audiology Foundation support research programs of excellence in education, promising research and public awareness in audiology and hearing science.
